Disney® Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend presented by MISFIT™November 03, 2017 - November 05, 2017 Get your reserved spot for only $25 by clicking here.
Join us in Orlando Florida! Our team's theme for this race is based on Alice in Wonderland. We're wishing a Very Merry Unbirthday to everyone with cancer! (If you aren't familiar with the concept, it's simple: you only have one birthday a year, but you have 364 UNbirthdays! So celebrate!!)
Kids who die from cancer are estimated to lose 77 years of life. Do you think that is unacceptable? Then let's do something about it! We will celebrate each day with them until we can find a cure!
We have spots available for the Disney® Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend presented by MISFIT™, and you can join us for the 5K, 10K or Half Marathon! We want to bring "a whole new world" of research to cancer researchers, and your donations can make that happen! So please join Team Fired Up or sponsor a runner and let's build this magic place where cures can be found!
Runners participating in the 5K commit to raising $550*, 10K runners commit to raising $650*, and half marathon runners commit to raising $800* for research.
As part Team Fired Up, you will receive**:
One registration in the Disneyland® race that they choose (Runners must register at the link above.)- All the benefits provided by runDisney, including a run shirt, finisher's medal, and Disney race bib- Team Fired Up Welcome Pack including a Dragon Master tech t-shirt- Access to our private Facebook group where you can meet and interact with our support team and other race participants. Make friends before you even get to the event! - Team Fired Up dinner at the event (date & location to be announced)- Team Fired Up Race Day goodie bag We will have fun contests for hitting your fundraising deadlines, and top fundraisers will be eligible for prizes!
Starting a fundraiser is easy to do, and it's fun. We'll even give you all the tools you'll need to make a difference. With your help we can ensure faster access to research data which will lead to more personalized treatments for cancer.
*Runners may fundraise those amounts or choose to donate that amount themselves. The full minimum fundraising amount is due approximately 1 month prior to the race date so we can finalize all plans. Runners may set up a recurring monthly donation to help meet their commitment on time.

It was Walt who said, “It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.” It is that kind of thinking that has brought us to this place where we are building a resource for all cancer researchers – something many said couldn’t be done. Hope isn’t a strategy, but the right strategy can give you hope. We are hopeful that this database will bring about better treatments and faster cures.
