We believe we can find a cure for cancer in our lifetime. To that end we have helped develop a large scale database that houses molecular, genetic, clinical and enviornmental data on pediatric brain tumors.
We reward qualified researchers and institutions who share data with the database by giving them free access to the database, leveraging existing grant funding, and creating new grants through fundraising efforts.
Thoughts and prayers do help, but you are right @ARizzo44, they aren't enough. Open, collaborative research that takes full advantage of the technology available is a good start toward cures. Please help us support #Cavatica and @CBTTC.
3 men diagnosed with cancer around the same age I was when I was told I had cancer died this week. Evan, Jack & Justin it was a pleasure getting to meet. I'm sorry we couldn't do better for u. I'm sorry ur families are having to go through this. Thoughts & prayers aren't enough. 4
